Meantime , Flu Kills Their Show
The flu but hit Clydebank Rep theatre Club this week during final rehersals of their first show of 1970 - the golfing comedy "THE OPEN" which was due to open tommorrow evening.
So "The Open" will not open.
There will still be a show for the many patrons who have already booked seats.
" The show must go on" tradition has rallied a veriety cast including some well known cabaret artists who had a free week and at least two who cancelled a date to help out the rep.
They will be joined by Rep favourites who have shown there vaudeville talent in the theatre club's annual revue.
The show will be accompanied by Robert wilson at the Thomas Palladium Organ.
